Since 2023, I have been working as an independent consultant, bringing over 25 years of extensive experience in leadership across various industries and sectors. My professional journey includes the following roles and achievements:
From 2018 to 2022, I held the position of CEO at Mediline, a company specializing in the distribution of laboratory equipment. During my tenure, I effectively led the organization through a transition from entrepreneurial to professional management. With changes in the business structure and the company's market position, together with an excellent team of colleagues, we have significantly increased the company's revenues and profits.
In the healthcare sector, from 2008 to 2018, I held diverse roles at the Blood Transfusion Centre of Slovenia. Starting with CAO, I progressed to the position of CEO, concluding my tenure in 2018 as the CEO advisor. This period offered valuable insights into the healthcare sector and provided leadership experience in a challenging cultural environment.
From 2006 to 2008, I briefly served as the CEO at Druga, d.o.o., a company specializing in financial investment management. This role provided me with invaluable experience in financial restructuring, management, and company sales.
My business career began at Iskraemeco, energy metering company, where I was employed from 1995 to 2006. After first three years, I took on the role of CFO, eventually concluding my tenure as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of a company that held a majority ownership stake in Iskraemeco. Through restructuring and the successful sale of the company Iskraemeco, I played a significant role in one of the most successful privatization projects in Slovenia.
